The Rocket League has a very successful year, and for 2018 it is planed to continue at a similar pace with a lot of new content. The content package for the spring of 2018 will certainly mark the introduction of the Tournaments. Testing of the same will start next month, but the launch for all players will occur in the third or fourth month, they have been discovered by Psyonix.
Also in the third month is the new licensed DLC that will be paid, as well as a spring event that has not yet been discovered. The game will get better management of objects through filtering, sorting and searching. In the future, we'll be able to activate the items depending on which team we are playing (blue or orange), we will get the option of turning of the messages etc.
The Switch version will get two performance modes - performance and quality. In the latter, the resolution of the game will increase to native 1080p when the console is connected to the TV, but the game will run at 30 fps with some additional visual effects. In performance mode, the game will run with dynamic scale scaling up to 900p. After the fourth month, the game will have the ability to create a party with players on different platforms. There are new arenas and a couple of new options with an emphasis on progress in the form of XP points.
