Ubisoft officially confirmed that
the fifth season of hack & slash action game For Honor, known as Age of
Wolves, will start on February 15 and that only a few days later its PC version
will get long-deserved dedicated servers. On this occasion, Ubisoft has not
been precise when dedicated servers can be expected on consoles, but coming to
the PC should result in much better matchmaking and more fluid and stable
matches.
One of the biggest minuses of
last year's For Honor game was definitely the P2P network multiplayer
performance. In short, that performance has made it easier to launch the game,
lowering some online traffic to the players. The adverse effects of this were
the slowdown and general breaks during the match. For one game that relied so
much on the multiplayer component, Ubisoft's move was "inexpensive"
in the absence of another description.
For those less informed, For Honor Season Five will be in the form of free update, and other than the standard improvements in the balance of heroes, matchmaking and server generally, five heros Kensei, Conqueror, Highlander, Berserker and Nobushi will get numerous changes in mind new designs, moves and animations, while other heroes will get their upgrade up during the season.
Also during the fifth season we
expect three new training modes (Apprentice Trials, Warriors Trials and The Arena),
and the introduction of a dedicated server is a long-awaited plan. Of course,
you should not forget to mention a large amount of additional content, the new
reputation level cap and much more that Age of Wolves makes the largest and
most prosperous season so far.
