The Ash of Gods game wants to
turn us into brave people who are willing to make difficult decisions and
sacrifice others and also to stop the devastation of darkness and death that
destroys their homeland.
Last year, American Independent
Studio AurumDust presented its first project on Kickstarter; and as it used to
be, they asked the generous people who saw the potential in their projectto
fund them. Given that nearly two thousand people supported their idea with just
over half a million dollars this year, we will enjoy a visual novel called Ash
of Gods.
Ash of Gods: Redemption (or just Ash of Gods) is a turn-based RPG featuring tactical battles, CCG elements (collectibles card game) and a rich story that evolves in line with our decisions. The action is located in the imaginary universe, more precisely on the continent called the Terminum, over which the plague of darkness and death emerged. But since every story requires the hero, the upcoming video will require you to become a brave man who is willing to make difficult choices, such as sacrificing others, but also yourself to save your own homeland.
Despite the fact that you create
a story of heroism and self-sacrifice, every character - including the
protagonists - one error can cost you expensive. So each decision has the
ability to change the course of events as well as the destiny of all the
heroes, however, the death of your leader does not indicate the end of the
journey for others.
As for the Ash of Gods fighting
system, it's easiest to describe it as a combination of traditional turn-based
strategy and CCG gameplay. Namely, individual combat tactics will depend on the
skills and classes of your characters, but you will be able to unlock and accumulate
cards which have strong powers that could change the course of the whole
battle. It should also be noted that in Ash of Gods you can play with other
players either through PvE or PvP challenges.
Ash of Gods will be released
sometime in the third month of this year on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and
Nintendo Switch, and the game will deliver a story that not only speaks about
the protagonists and their battles but about the fate of the whole world.
